How We Work

When I speak to clients on the telephone the first thing I normally explain is what will happen during the sitting. I find it's helpful for you to know exactly what to expect. With this in mind, I have given a basic explanation of the process below:

We have sittings throughout the week including Saturday and Sunday . We will never rush you as we understand that babies and children do not work to a schedule. We therefore, allow plenty of time if you need to feed, change or settle your baby. For this reason we only  have 2 sittings a day 7 days a week.

When you arrive Paul will have a chat about the type of portraits you would like and show you examples of our work. He will also show you our frames, canvases and our new modern ice panels and explain the prices.

Once Paul has taken a range of photographs he will show them to you there and then on a computer. He will go through them with you and narrow them down to your favorite images. He is happy to give his opinion if you are not sure but it's always your ultimate decision. If you do decide to buy any portraits (remember there is no obligation to buy any) we only ask for a 50% deposit on the day with the remainder when you collect the finished portraits from us, approximately 3 weeks later. Alternatively you can do an interest free payment plan and you will find all the information regarding this under it's own heading.

With your finished portraits you will receive a proof sheet of all the photographs taken on the day. They come on A4 laminated photographic paper and have the image number underneath each photograph. This enables you or your family to order additional photographs at a later date. As an added bonus after wards you can cut them up, pop them in your wallet/purse, and proudly show off your family  to anyone that will let you! This is our present to you. NEW FOR 2011 - For any portraits purchased regardless of quantity or product you will receive a watermarked low resolution digital image, so you can share them on facebook etc...
